LGBTQ+ Heritage Tour

To celebrate Pride month, Strawberry Hill is hosting an out-of-hours LGBTQ+ tour. The tour will seek to explore more about Horace Walpole's sexuality by investigating the correspondence between his network of friends and acquaintances, and how this might inform our interpretation of his house and collection.
As visitors are led through the gothic castle, our tour guide will reveal how Strawberry Hill enabled Walpole to build a unique identity for himself by his radical use of architecture, design, and antiquarianism.
